The end of the COVID-19 is nowhere in sight. It can have you questioning when you can see a hearing specialist. If you notice your hearing has gotten worse but don’t know if it’s safe to leave the house, we can help you decide. At Beltone Chicago, our specialists follow all CDC guidelines. We make sure that you’re safe during your visit.

A Look Into Our New Protocols

We know that you’re worried about contracting the coronavirus. That is why we have staff members committed to keeping our offices as safe as possible. Due to the recent health scare, we’ve implemented new safety and health protocols. These are for our technicians and patients alike. Let’s take a look at some of the changes you may experience during your next visit.

You Need An Appointment

While we try to keep our lobby open for all, the pandemic has limited the number of patients in our office at any one time. We recommend that you contact our office to schedule an appointment ahead of time. This guarantees that you’ll be able to enter our office upon arrival.

Health Status Evaluations

When you come to your appointment, you will have to answer a few questions. Our staff members will take your temperature to make sure you don’t have a fever. You’ll have a health questionnaire given to you. It will ask for any symptoms that you may be experiencing related to the virus.

You Need PPEs

You should wear personal protective equipment when you come in for your appointment. This can be in the form of a face mask, gloves, face shield, or any combination of the three.

No Patient Escorts

If you have an escort when you come into your appointment, we’ve changed our guidelines. We no longer allow loved ones to escort you into your appointment. This can increase the number of people in the building. Instead, we can sometimes offer phone call or video chat participation. This allows loved ones to join the conversation when you’re at your appointment.

It’s Vital To Get Your Hearing Evaluated

We know first-hand how important the ability to hear is. Have you noticed that your hearing isn’t like it used to be? You shouldn’t let the COVID-19 pandemic stop you from getting treatment. Our trained specialists can provide a hearing evaluation. You can ensure that our facilities are as clean as possible.

Give Us A Call

If it’s time for a hearing appointment, then give us a call. Our office will be more than happy to get you scheduled. We want you to know that we take pride in our staff members. They commit to following CDC guidelines to ensure your visit is as safe as possible.
